Michael Wittmann, a renowned tank commander in World War II, decimated over 150 enemy tanks and 130 other armored vehicles during his military career. In the Normandy battles, Wittmann was linked to two legendary Tiger I tanks that significantly contributed to his achievements. Wittmann's final tank was Tiger I No. 007, where he made his dramatic last stand near St.Aignan de Cramesnil on August 8, 1944, marking the end of his career. Eighty years after his death, these three iconic Tigers continue to be a central part of Wittmann's legacy as one of history's most formidable tank aces.
