Advanced Surround (V.S.S.) simulates a surround-sound effect using only the front two speakers, so you can enjoy Dolby Digital 5.1 channel discs without an elaborate home theater system. Additionally, the Bass Plus output enables a two-channel setup when you connect an optional subwoofer to your system, so you can get great, realistic home theater sound. Cinema Mode allows clear, bright colors and enhances the color in darker scenes by automatically adjusting picture contrast. The Dialogue Enhancer lets you hear clear dialogue from the center channel over other sound channels. All functions are on the front panel of the DVD player for easy access and control. The DVD-RV32S also features Optical Digital Output for Dolby Digital (AC3) and DTS external decoder, Variable Zoom Function, Hi-Speed Smooth Scan (up to x200), a Progress Indicator, and Quick Replay, which allows you to jump back 7-10 seconds during playback. It includes S-Video, subwoofer, and video outputs, and comes with a standard remote control.
